Matt and Barry started Capitoline in 2005. They are still our Data Centre Training Instructors. They write and teach the data centre training on this website. They each have over 30 years’ experience in IT and Engineering infrastructures. As data centre consultants, they focus on helping customers improve data centre facilities and operations management. They are also experts in data centre certification and assessment and help develop the International, American and European data centre standards.
Matt and Barry will teach you and your staff about best practice data centre design and awareness, data centre certification, data centre audits and data centre operations management. Matt Flowerday – Data Centre Training Instructor
Matt was owner and CEO of an IT and Engineering infrastructure company for 20 years. In 2005 he co-founded Capitoline. He is a Chartered Engineer with extensive business experience and has done more than 150 data centre audits. Matt is also extensively involved in the development of Capitoline’s Data Centre Training.
Barry Elliott – Data Centre Training Instructor
Barry was head of technical support and training for Brand-Rex, Novar plc and Honeywell. In 2005 he co-founded Capitoline and wrote the first data centre course in the World. He has extensive experience in data centre design and auditing and is a celebrated speaker and technical writer. Barry is also involved in the development of Capitoline’s Data Centre Training.
